Story
Hi there!
I’m making a difference and taking part in a fun run to support digestive cancer research. For me, taking part and supporting this cause is personal. Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Over 24,600 Australians are diagnosed with GI Cancer every year and currently only 48% of these individuals will survive beyond 5 years. GI Cancer affects the digestive tract and includes the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, gall-bladder and biliary tract, bowel and colorectal cancers as well as some rarer cancers that can affect more than one of these parts of the digestive tract.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the GI Cancer Institute. All funds raised will support research in to new treatments for patients diagnosed with gastro-intestinal (GI) cancer.
Research is critical to improving outcomes for patients in the future.
Thanks so much for your support!
